Düben Castle and Landscape Museum

Düben Castle has been home to a permanent exhibition of the city and region’s local history since 1953. Following a total renovation in 1999, the castle now offers visitors interesting insights into both the history of the city and of Düben Heath. The museum explores Bad Düben as a town based around the agricultural and handicrafts industries, with a particular focus on how these are linked to its geographical location. The museum covers three main areas: the history of the city, the natural environment and handicrafts,
1000-year-old castle with Lug ins Land viewing tower and Landscape Museum.
