Kreutzbach organ at St. Nicholas parish church in Waldheim

Originally built in 1843–48 by Urban Kreutzbach (1796–1868) as a two-manual mechanical organ with 34 stops, it underwent a major rebuild by Richard Kreutzbach (1839–1903) in 1891. II/29. This involved building a new console and replacing the mechanical action with a pneumatic control system. The manual ranges were extended to C – f''' and the pedal range to C – d'. A crescendo roller was installed at this time but then removed again in 1952. In 1928, the organ stops were again reconfigured and an electric bellows was added. The Bautzen-based company Orgelbau Hermann Eule performed a general overhaul in 1989.
