Passenger ship tour and boat hire on Kriebstein Dam

The reservoir between Waldheim and Mittweida is just waiting to be discovered aboard one of its five ships. Tours on the "MS Kriebstein" or "Hainichen" as well as ferry trips on the "Lauenhain" or "Höfchen" give visitors a spectacular opportunity to enjoy the region's beauty. The longest-serving vessel is the "Mittweida": an extraordinary experience, especially since it is no longer in constant use.
If you would like to escape from the stress and strain of everyday life yet still do something active, then you might want to consider hiring a rowing or pedal boat at the Kriebsteintalsperre special-purpose association.
