Schildberg tower at Schildau

At 217.2 metres above sea level, the Schildberg is one of the region's highest peaks. From the 26-m Schildberg tower, you can enjoy fascinating views of the protected landscape of the Dahlener Heide, as well as the town of Schildau and its surrounding villages. The Schildberg tower was built in 1936 from the Styrian quartz-porphyry found at the foot of the mountain.
