O-Schatz-Park Oschatz

Entry to the popular, family-friendly O-Schatz Park – which includes a zoo and theme park – is free of charge. It came into being as part of the legacy of the 4th Saxony Horticultural Show 2006 and today delights both young and old with a wide variety of attractions, including the wildlife park with exotic species, the adventure playground, the Schatzgarten (treasure garden), the labyrinth, bumper cars and the miniature golf course. The idyllically situated Rosensee encourages even the busiest visitors to linger a while. The multi-purpose hall, "the O", houses a large collection of coffee pots. The official count in November 2009 found 18,179 specimens, at which time the big fundraising campaign ended.
